Nestled on the east coast of Far North Queensland is the warm, inviting city of Cairns, a popular

travel destination for divers and travellers alike due to it’s balmy temperatures and closeness to the

all popular Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Not only can you snorkel, scuba dive and swim in the beautiful crystal waters, Cairns tours revels in the

opportunity to provide tourists and locals with exciting activities all year ‘round. Experience all that

Cairns has to offer, including delicious cuisine at an array of cafe’s and restaurants, or adventure

out of your comfort zone with stand up paddle boarding or free diving. You can even experience a

whole host of free activities along the Cairns Esplanade, perfect if you’re on a budget.

The Cairns Esplanade is a sight to see, day or night. Here you can take a stroll through the weekly

markets (Saturdays 8am - 5pm), join in on free daily exercise classes, or simply ramble on down

the waterfront while soaking up the awe-inspiring view. Here on the Esplanade is where The

Lagoon is thoroughly enjoyed by all - take advantage of the free swimming facilities while staying

safe and sound - away from stingers and crocs!

If a tipple or two is more your style, head on down to The Woolshed or Salt House for a few drinks,

Some snacks and a good laugh. Both have great cover bands that play the classics, perfect for a

sing-along, and are in walking distance of The Esplanade - your stroll home will always be a good

one. You can even stop off at Australia’s favourite Pie store “Pieface” for a quality late night snack!

Cairns is in very close proximity to so many other incredible destinations that it’s the perfect hub for

travellers. For great day cairns day tours, Trek North for a few hours and you’ll arrive at the Daintree Rainforest, the largest

continuous area of tropical rainforest in Australia. Travel East by ferry and in 45 minutes you’ll

reach Fitzroy Island, an incredible getaway destination for beach lovers. 20km South of Cairns,

you’ll find “Walsh's Pyramid” (Bundadjarruga), one of the highest natural pyramids in the world.

Although it’s peak is only 922 metres high, the climb takes approx 4-6 hours, depending on your

fitness level, and can be slippery if rainfall was fairly recent, so make sure you’re prepared for the

climb!
